Kinderziektes

Kinderziektes zijn ziektes die vrijwel alleen bij kinderen voorkomen. Hoe vervelend het ook is, als kind en ouder ontkom je er bijna niet aan en krijg je vaak een van deze ziektes. Long en luchtwegaandoeningen

Veel kinderen hebben last van een luchtwegaandoening zoals COPD. COPD staat voor Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Een chronische longziekte, die niet te genezen valt. COPD is een verzamelnaam voor; chronische bronchitis en longemfyseem. Een ander veel voor komende luchtwegaandoeningen zijn Astma en longontsteking.

Ontstekingen

Een ontsteking is vaak een gevolg van een infectie. Een ontsteking is namelijk een reactie van het lichaam op lichaamsvreemde stoffen of beschadigingen van het weefsel. Onstekingen hebben als doel om de schade aan het lichaam te herstellen. Kinderen hebben vaak met regelmaat last van ontstekingen zoals; oorontsteking, keelontsteking, oogontsteking, blaasontsteking, blinde darmontsteking etc. Soms is een ontsteking in het lichaam van chronische aard, zoals bij de ziekte van Crohn. Een chronische ziekte waarbij de dunne-, dikke- en/of endeldarm ontstoken zijn.
